As a Logistics Yard Assistant, you’ll work in the open-air yard area where trailers, vans, and long-haul trucks circulate. The job involves movement coordination, visual checks, and constant communication with drivers and dispatchers.
Responsibilities

Guide trucks into loading docks using hand signals or LED paddles

Perform basic visual checks on trailers (lights, locks, tires)

Position wheel chocks and safety barriers

Communicate trailer availability to dispatch

Help clear snow/debris during weather shifts

Maintain yard lanes and assist with traffic flow
